Centre for Accountancy, Management, Business and Entrepreneurship (CAMBE)

The Centre for Accountancy, Management, Business and Entrepreneurship (CAMBE) and the International Academy for Professional Development offers the following professional development and practice programmes:

Certificate in Professional Development (Specialist Topic) 
Certificate in Work Based Professional Development (Specialist Topic) 


These courses provide students with a distance and blended learning approach to continuing professional development and education in their own particular field of work. The Topic Specialism is in the field that the student wishes to focus on for the work-based programme whereas the general certificate focuses on coaching. Journal articles that can provide an excellent source of research for the courses include the International Journal of Management Education.

 

The Certificate in Work Based Professional Development is of particular interest to professionals who need to undertake Continuing Professional Development and Education (CPDE). It is a total of 50 hours study. Course admission is subject to the Centre for Accountancy, Management, Business and Entrepreneurship (CAMBE) and International Academy having an Academic Supervisor able to supervise the particular specialist topic.

 

The Centre for Coaching, International Academy for Professional Development offer Institute of Leadership and Management (TILM) Approved development programmes. 

WHO ARE THE TILM DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES SUITABLE FOR?

Generally the courses are suitable for managers, directors, entrepreneurs, personnel staff, management consultants, trainers, coaches, psychologists and/or other professionals who wish to learn more about coaching and/or management development. However, participants also include those interested in a career change.
