Introductory Student Textbooks

Introduction

At the International Academy for Professional Development the Directors of Training are developing a series of textbooks to support students on our training programmes. Chapters are written by topic experts and specialists.

Each chapter includes an abstract, learning objectives, discussion points and a glossary of key terms. These books are available free although not all books will be available in this public section. However, students and alumni of the International Academy and affiliated Centres/Faculties can become Student or Alumni Associates of the Faculty of Professional Development and access all of the textbooks and a number of online short courses. Books available to students and alumni include Introduction to Psychology as a Scientific Discipline and Introduction to Development Across the Lifespan.

The books are developed using the Noba project. Our many thanks go to the Diener Education Fund for launching and supporting the Noba project.
