The Centre for Coaching and the Faculty of Coaching Psychology run a range of courses. Programmes that include pre-course reading and/or online modules and classroom attendence include:
Certificate in Coaching (Level 5, 15 Credits)
Certificate in Stress Management and Performance Coaching (Level 5, 30 Credits)
Certificate in Psychological Coaching (Level 6, 15 Credits)
Certificate in Coaching Psychology (Level 7, 20 Credits)
Successful students who have passed the certificate programmes can transfer to the following programmes:
Diploma in Coaching (Level 6, 40 Credits)
Diploma in Psychological Coaching (Level 7, 50 Credits)
Diploma in Coaching Psychology (Level 7, 50 Credits)
The Diploma courses are distance learning and include academic supervision.
The British Psychological Society Learning Centre approves the Centre for Coaching short 2-day Primary and extended Certificate, Advanced Certificate and Diploma courses for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
The Centre for Coaching is an Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) Recognised Provider. As a recognised provider, the Centre runs a wide range of approved coaching and management development programmes which are suitable for Continuing Professional Development. On completion of their programme, students receive an ILM Development certificate. Our Centre for Coaching ILM Advanced Development Awards qualify successful candidates for Associate Membership of the ILM. Those with more than five years experience may also apply for full Membership of the ILM.
