Cognitive Behavioural Coaching Courses

Posted by Peter Ruddell on July 26, 2013 at 7:05 AM Comments comments (0)

I am often asked how our different coaching courses fit together and have given details below including details of our Coaching Diplomas.

Information about the Certificate in Coaching, which is usually the first course taken, can be found at:

http://bit.ly/YXDUtD

The central foundation of all our courses is cognitive behavioural/solutions focused coaching.

Our Diplomas are accredited by Middlesex University and the three certificate courses below form the usual taught components leading to the Diplomas. Our Centre is approved by the International Society for Coaching Psychology and all of our courses are recognised by the British Psychological Society Learning Centre for the purposes of CPD. all of the courses can also be taken as Institute of Leadership and Management endorsed development programmes.

The Certificate courses are individually recognised by the Association for Coaching.

The taught certificate components are as follows:

1. Certificate in Coaching (5 days continuous) http://bit.ly/YXDUtD

2. Certificate in Stress Management and Performance Coaching (3x 2day courses: a + b + either c or d or e)

http://bit.ly/16p2U4A

a. Primary Cert in Stress Management http://bit.ly/10MANvH

b. Primary Cert in Performance Coaching http://bit.ly/13TmGG4

c. Primary Cert in Problem Focused Counselling Coaching and Training http://bit.ly/ZiqCKD

d. Primary Cert in Assertion and Communication Skills Training http://bit.ly/Yqpqql

e. Primary Cert in Redundancy Coaching and Counselling http://bit.ly/XrF0P8

3. Certificate in Psychological Coaching [non-psychologists] http://bit.ly/WhAQhv OR / Coaching Psychology [psychologists only] http://bit.ly/XaxhIu (5 days continuous).

They are usually taken in the order, 1, 2 and 3. The components in 2 can be taken in any order while 3 is always taken last as it builds on training, experience and practise achieved in and subsequent to other modules. Most of the modules can also be taken as 'stand-alone'. However, 3 requires previous training/experience in cognitive behavioural/solution focused coaching, usually gained from taking one or more of our other courses.

Details of the additional work required for the Diploma in Coaching is detailed at:

http://bit.ly/13esIS4

for the Diploma in Coaching Psychology at: http://bit.ly/13jlX0w

and for the Diploma in Psychological Coaching at: http://bit.ly/ZVX7gC

I attach a schedule of course dates for 2013 and an application form.

What course is best for me

I am often asked this question, so I have outlined below how the different courses 'fit' together and have included details of our Coaching Diplomas.

The Certificate courses are individually recognised by the Association for Coaching.

The taught certificate components are as follows:

1. Certificate in Coaching (5 days continuous) http://bit.ly/YXDUtD

2. Certificate in Stress Management and Performance Coaching (3x 2day courses: a + b + either c or d or e)

http://bit.ly/16p2U4A

a. Primary Cert in Stress Management http://bit.ly/10MANvH

b. Primary Cert in Performance Coaching http://bit.ly/13TmGG4

c. Primary Cert in Problem Focused Counselling Coaching and Training http://bit.ly/ZiqCKD

d. Primary Cert in Assertion and Communication Skills Training http://bit.ly/Yqpqql

e. Primary Cert in Redundancy Coaching and Counselling http://bit.ly/XrF0P8

3. Certificate in Psychological Coaching [non-psychologists] http://bit.ly/WhAQhv

OR / Coaching Psychology [psychologists only] http://bit.ly/XaxhIu

(5 days continuous).
